About Virtual Funds
Once a client becomes a Simulated Funded Trader at Propywise, they are provided with a demo account containing simulated funds.
The Propywise challenge and funded accounts are not live trading accounts; they are entirely simulated, using real market quotes from liquidity providers. Consequently, no actual money is traded, as no orders are executed in live markets; all orders are simulated within a virtual environment.
To avoid any confusion, please remember that both Simulated Funded and Challenge Accounts at Propywise are fully simulated. These accounts utilize real market quotes from trading platform providers who replicate the live market by aggregating order books from liquidity providers. The trading data is then sent to a partnered proprietary trading firm, where trades may be copied at their discretion, and proprietary trading strategies are developed using this data.
Disclaimer: Hypothetical or simulated performance results have certain limitations. Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not reflect real trading. Because the trades have not been executed, the results might have overcompensated or undercompensated for the impact of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity.
